Daily UAP/UFO news · gov drops · sightings · witness accounts
UAP Insight is a daily-refreshed aggregator of UFO/UAP news, government declassifications, and community signal. It was built in May 2026, days after the US Department of War launched the war.gov/UFO portal and released the first PURSUE tranche — 131 declassified documents spanning FBI, CIA, DOD, NASA, and State Department records dating back to the 1940s.
At the time, the same story was being fragmented across 17 different feeds with no single place to read it all. UAP Insight collects it in one place.
Every item links to the original source. No editorial rewrites. All perspectives — disclosure-focused, investigative, and critical — appear in the same feed. The goal is signal, not spin.
Every day at 06:30 UTC an automated pipeline pulls from 17 sources — dedicated UAP outlets, mainstream science feeds filtered for UAP keywords, and government document archives including the war.gov/UFO PURSUE portal. Items are deduplicated by canonical URL and written to a Postgres database. A second AI pass then runs on each new item to assign a score, category, and extract named entities.
The feed refreshes once a day by design — UAP news moves slowly enough that hourly polling would just surface noise. Reddit sources (r/UFOs, r/UFOB) are included when running locally but are blocked by Reddit from automated cloud runners, so they may be absent on any given day.
Each item is scored 1–10 by Claude Haiku after ingest. The score reflects relevance to UAP disclosure, source credibility, and informational density — not sensationalism. A score of 7+ means the item contains substantive new information (a primary document, a named source, a congressional development). A score of 3–4 typically means a speculative blog post or low-evidence sighting report.
Primary source, major disclosure, congressional testimony
Credible reporting, named sources, substantive analysis
Speculation, unverified sightings, opinion without evidence
Items are also tagged with a category: policy, science, sighting, debunk, document, or media. You can filter by category using the tag chips on the feed.
UAP Insight is not an advocacy site. It does not argue that UAP are extraterrestrial, that the government is covering up contact, or that any specific whistleblower is telling the truth. It also does not argue the opposite.
Metabunk — a community that systematically investigates conventional explanations for UAP cases — is a deliberate inclusion. Disclosure-focused outlets and evidence-based critical analysis appear in the same feed, ranked by the same scoring criteria. The goal is to surface the full range of credible perspectives so readers can evaluate the evidence themselves.
AI-generated summaries are descriptive, not evaluative. They describe what a source claims, not whether the claim is true. Every item links prominently to the original — read the source before drawing conclusions.
