AARO identified a classified infrared video from January 2023 recorded above the Yellow Sea showing a spherical area of contrast moving through the sensor field-of-view, released in response to a March 2026 House request for UAP-related records.

AARO released a declassified infrared video allegedly recorded by a U.S. military platform above the East China Sea on 9 June 2021, showing a single thermal contrast tracked for 18 seconds before the sensor loses sight of it. The 23-second video was uploaded to a classified network in June 2021.
