A documentary director has assessed witness testimony as credible regarding an alleged cigar-shaped UFO crash near Varginha, Brazil in January 1996. The incident, which has accumulated multiple witness accounts over three decades, is being referenced in comparison to the 1947 Roswell case. The documentary project appears to be examining the historical record of the Varginha event through formal credibility evaluation of witness accounts. No new physical evidence or official confirmation has been reported in connection with the assessment.
